Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great pattern and cardigan Really easy pattern to follow. I bought the same coloured wool as the photo and my finished Cardigan looks just like the one on the pattern cover. Really pleased, lovely cardigan & wool for a good price and an enjoyable and stress free project.

Could the pattern be adjusted to knit without the hood I have the pattern but not sure about the hood

Asked by: Cookie145
Yes. The hood is knitted after the shoulders are joined on. I think a collar would work quite well, possibly not too small a neckband. The front borders are added last and join to the hood so would probably need to add to collar or neckband. I knitted the pattern as shown but added 3 button holes and put on 3 toggles, really pleased with result.

What’s with the hood it actually isn’t one

Asked by: Tracyminx
It's an integral hood so forms part of the cardigan. It's loose & wide but still cosy. When down it's like a shawl/cowl collar. I love this pattern, hardest but was choosing the colour from such a wide range.

How much chunky wool does this use please?

Asked by: Biddydebdeb
I used the James C Brett marble chunky correct for the pattern and I knitted the medium. It required the 4 x 200g balls as stated, and I had some left of the last ball. Knitted up really well.
