Fantastic colours shame about the ball
The wool it’s self is beautiful to crochet with and has a wonderfully variable repeat that makes for a fantastic pattern, the only downsize is the way the ball is wound, large quantities can slip off at once and this can then get knotted up.

Great Colours, although badly finished Cakes
Oh dear, this really isn't great to crochet with. I have bought 5 balls of this, every ball has had factory knots in them, the yarn goes very thin in some parts of the ball and thick in others. The ball/cake is extremely loosely wound at the factory resulting in the yarn unravelling in large chunks and gets very knotted up. I lost patience in the end and re-wound the cakes with my yarn winder. It's only redeeming feature is I like the colours. I won't be using this in my projects in future, it's a shame as I love JC Brett yarn normally.

Wool tangles so easily. Nightmare to use!
Looked lovely wool with vibrant colours but what a disappointment. Wool easily tangled up and became a nightmare to work with. I eventually had to unroll the whole ball and rewind it to allow me to knit with it. I also found 3 joins in the wool. Although the texture is lovely and soft, my heart is no longer in knitting this garment with all the hassle i have had.
I have used Brett's chunky wool before with no issues. So disappointed with the 3x200gms balls i have bought.

Not recommended
Lovely yarn but falls apart immediately in a tangle. If you do buy this yarn then I would recommend winding the yarn completely to avoid hours spent untangling knots!

Beautiful colours
Beautiful colour unfortunately the quality of this wool is not great. The wool is very thin and if hand knitting I would use 3.75mm needles not 4mm. I bought this for hand machine knit and though it works in it the thickness of the wool made it very gappy

Bad yarn
Loads of knots - I bought 6 balls of this yarn and every single one had defects - knots and it went thin like thread in some places and thick in other places -maybe just a bad batch

Swirlywurly wool
Love the vibrancy of the colours, jus beautiful. It knits up really well and the texture and the quality are very evident.
Definitely a favourite

brilliant, but wish there were less knots
really lovely colours and transitions, however there have been quite a few factory knots in my ball or pieces that are thinner than others.
