Inspiring
I have not created any Art for some time, but a visit to Hobbycraft has changed that. I walked past a display of Jane Davenports range of goodies and they caught my eye. This book has some very simple techniques and some more challenging ones and I wanted to try some of these out for myself. I love bright colours and there are plenty of ways to play. I recommend it for anyone wanting to learn some new techniques, dabble in mixed media or just try out a different way to illustrate where you can make it your own.

Fabulous Jane Davenport
Beautiful book, I love Jane Davenport, her art style is just fabulous. I now have all of her books and I’ve enrolled on 4 of her online classes and I’ve spent over a thousand pounds buying materials directly from her shop in Australia. She is a fantastic teacher and her books support her classes which is so valuable to me. Ever since I discovered her last summer I’ve been enjoying art again. She’s an amazing artist and I highly recommend her books and all of her products on her website.

A helpful happy book for aspiring artists
As a returning to art artist (that isn't very confident). I've found so many things in this book to practise and inspire me.
I like Jane Davenport's work and I am enjoying using her process, and style as my own starting points. Her tips and ideas have saved me a lot of time on things I would have to figure out for myself.

On line purchase of fabric
I have not purchased any of these items. My purchase was dimple fleece which was badly cut and about 13cms short of the two metres ordered and paid for.
