Pattern doesn't match the picture
My mum tried to knit this jumper for me and even as an experienced knitted had issues with the pattern. The pattern seemed passable at first but one aspect (for the neck band) was worded badly. Similarly to another person's review, the neck just doesn't look as it's supposed to. Such a shame she spent so much time on this and it doesn't look right at all. She will be unpicking the whole things and using the wool for something else. Wouldn't recommend.

Disappointed
Like the review from TRC3, I think the pattern has errors. I haven’t knit for ages and was looking forward to getting back into it but after almost completing the back I’m building myself up to unravelling the contrast section before rewriting the instructions for myself. Second size instructions do not carry the pattern. Can’t wait to get to the neck issues - not!

Great sweater but pattern is inaccurate
Pattern didn't match the photo, the neck came out much too big and I had to adjust it.

What does this mean on the pattern (1:-:4:2:-)
It refers to the different sizes so Border Row 1 (RS) states to K1, C4B, p1, k3 (1:-:4:2:-) which means to K3 for the first size, K1 for the second size, don't knit any for the third size (denoted by the -), K4 for the fourth size, K2 for the fifth size and don't knit any for the sixth size.

I have got this pattern and was about to start on it until I read the reviews. Are there any corrections available for where the pattern is incorrect?
I didn’t find anything incorrect with the pattern and have successfully knitted the pattern twice.Hope this helps.
