Such an easy pattern.
Doing the pattern as a gift for my elderly mum being in granny squares it allows me to do it when I have a few minutes to spare brilliant pattern for just that reason, and it looks really good too so simple.

Cost
Didn't realise at the time of buying the pattern that it would cost around £80 for the yarn to complete the cardigan so unless I can find a cheaper alternative yarn unfortunately I will not be using the pattern.

Wool quantity?
I bought this pattern but decided to use a different wool as the cost of the recommended wool was far too much! I bought 800g of wool as per the pattern, and am currently halfway through but haven't even used 200g yet! Is the pattern wrong? Other than that I found the pattern quite easy to follow and I'm only a beginner crocheter 😊

Love, love this jacket!
Love this jacket! As a crochet newbie I was a bit nervous about starting this but I took it to do by the poolside on holiday. I did have to go up a hook size though to get the right tension. Once I'd figured it out I was off and running. Lovely yarn, so soft but holds it's shape. Putting it together wasn't too tricky either. Oh, I should also say that I did an extra finishing row all the way round as I had the yarn and it seems to sit on me better. Now I'm wearing it and I love it. ❤️

Disappointed.
I thought the jacket looked lovely, so downloaded the pattern only to find that if I bought the recommended yarn from Hobbycraft it would cost about £90 to make it. Disappointing 🙁

Couldn’t unlock pattern
I brought the pattern as it seem fairly straight, however I wasn’t able to understand the abbreviations, I asked several of my friends have been crocheted for several years and they were as lost as I was.

Unhappy with the pattern .
Just disappointed with the pattern couldn’t do it , some sizes didn’t seem right

When completing the widening rows it's missing what to do for sizes medium and extra large, is this a misprint?
Apologies for the delay while we investigated this. It looks like the M and XL sizes here are intentionally skipped as this part is not relevant to them.
This row adds extra stitches down the cardigan side edges to increase width for some sizes only so the underarm panel and sleeve fit correctly.
But Medium and XL must already match the sleeve panel width, so they don’t need the extra side-edge row.
So, for size Medium, after joining the squares:
Skip the entire “Sizes S, L, 2XL…” section
Go straight to:
UNDERARM PANEL (make two alike)
The chain count there already includes Medium:
16 (18:22:24:26:28:30:32)
So Size M = chain 18.
