Hobbycraft pattern
The pattern does not appear to represent the finished article (faces are definitely a different shape) and because the suggested wool varied considerably in thickness, impossible to use the ‘tapestry’ method because of the varied tension. Because of this I ended up creating individual squares (and I changed the stitches on some to make it more interesting) and doing the animal faces as separate motifs. Overall a project which should have been quick and simple to make took ages while trying to work out tension etc and re-doing several times until I achieved what I considered a reasonable finish! Also I have been left with a considerable amount of wool.

First hobbycraft pattern not impressed
There seems to be a few problems with the pattern, stiches incorrect, parts differ from photo, wool thicknesses differ. Regretfully I'm not impressed.

Would not recommend.
This appears to be a simple pattern. However i have had to unpick it 5 times as I thought I had gollowed the pattern incorrectly. Each time the shape of the head is like an alien not as shown in the picture.

Very easy pattern as only details for each animal are different. Each square the same (except giraffe).
