A challenge: heavy work to make but looks great
This was quite a challenge to make, not only because I had to learn a new skill in crochet -- how to interweave different colours in a row -- but also because as it gets bigger it gets very heavy. But the result is wonderful: a brightly coloured rug which would also work as a rug-across-the-knees on a cold evening. It really brightens up the room and, of course, it's unique. It needs a lot of patience, concentration and steady work to make, but the results are worth it.
As the pattern repeats, it's easy enough to lengthen the rug as required: I added a repeat to get the length I needed.

Very dissatisfied
I bought this obviously with the intentions to make it. I looked all over for the yarn needed but they don't tell you until you buy the pattern. Upon download, it states that you must only use the yarn in the pattern which is hobby crafts own brand aka you cannot buy elsewhere. I went back to the website to search it and they don't even sell the colours required to make this
