Rated 2 out of 5 by from Pretty colours, but too thin This yarn is nowhere near aran weight, it’s light DK at best… in fact, the WI premium DK is thicker. In addition, the thickness varies throughout… everything from thin as thread, to big chunky bits. This irregularity may give an effective result for a scarf, but hopeless if you need a uniform finish. The ball I used had 4 join knots, which was annoying. It’s a shame, because the colours are lovely, it’s soft and a good price for 150g.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Stunning Colours Absolutely love the colours in this yarn - they remind me of many of the colours of nature in Scotland (gorgeous blues of the sea, rocky dark greys and blacks, purple heathers and yellow gorse!). The other reviews are correct in that the thickness of the yarn is quite variable with the colour changes but this isn't obvious in any of the single crochet items I've made. I've also had a few issues with it getting tangled but didn't need to cut it at any point. So far I've made a headband and a sunglasses case, and I've now purchased more balls of yarn to potentially make a blanket.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Lovely colour but wouldn't buy again Not the best, tangled up a lot and the ball is a mess

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Beautiful colour, weird thickness Beautiful colour but varying thickness is annoying

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Lovely colours but temperamental The colours are lovely! Really works up well and feels soft. The thickness is all over the place. Good for projects that require texture but not for any precise pattern work. It tangles easily and despite being 100% acrylic felts very easily. I had to cut out a few bad tangles because they had fused into a clump. I am using this to make a scarf and it's working out well!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Love love love the colours Love love love the colours, and I enjoy the fact is not the same size throughout. My only issue is that it gets so tangled, the amount of hours I’ve spent untangling is ridic. But I’m also super new to crochet & yarn so I’m not sure if I’m meant to do anything special with the yarn. Used one ball to make a gorg scarf though

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Beautiful but doesn’t work well Really beautiful colours but the yarn thickness goes from fine to super thick and then incredibly thin with the thick bits fraying and getting caught around other pieces of yarn making it really difficult to work with.
