You do the foundation row as indicated in the pattern until you get to the last stitch, in which you do a DC. The Reps given in the brackets at the end of the foundation row instruction, is the number of reps you should have done along the foundation row, depending on which size you are crocheting. You then cut the yarn and carry onto Row 1 with Yarn B
