Do NOT listen to the bad reviews!
Absolutely beautiful soft yarn which I greatly enjoyed crocheting in to a turtleneck jumper- yes the yarn varies in thickness throughout, but that posed ZERO issues to the overall gauge/structure of my final clothing item and was a JOY to work with. I adore the moonshine colour of this yarn and I’d be devastated to ever see it removed from the market due to people mistaking individual skill issue with “bad yarn”. LOVE this yarn and can’t wait to use it again in the future.

Spinning kaleidoscope
Well, I've been crocheting and wrapping/unknotting/unraveling yarn for decades. Never have I had yarns explode so badly. No ends in middle or outside, instead being about 3/4 the way through. It took about 8 hours to sort 3 balls! I'm never getting that time back. I can do half a jumper in that time. As someone else mentioned, the weight changes throughout too and constantly knots to itself (watch out if you have to frog, it felts to itself). So why am I giving it two stars not one? Because it made a really lovely jumper and I was pleased with the result (which is rare for me).

Was tempted by the price. Don’t be like me!
I wish I’d read the reviews. It’s a beautiful colour but the yarn changes weight frequently and dramatically the way it’s twisted is difficult to work with as you are constantly having to stop to undo the tangles. I see reviews raising this issue from over 3 months ago yet my store has just restocked. Why? Hobbycraft are more than aware of the issues with this yarn so why continue from this supplier.? Very reluctant to buy further Knitcraft products as they don’t seem to be taking customer’s views on board. Telling us you care while still selling the item with the same issues tells me you really don’t.

Not good
Yarn keeps changing weight from lace to chunky and goes extremely thin at points. Not an aran weight yarn throughout.

Did not enjoy
Terrible yarn keeps continously curling and knotting itself even after a very short time of me using it.

Fun to knit with
The yarn changes thickness however I like the added texture this gives a finished item. I have used to crochet a hat and knit gloves. The yarn works better knitted as it is not the softest. I love the colours

Poor quality
Keeps getting tangled and knotted and had to cut yarn numerous times just to sort out knotting. Yarn changes from thick to very thin in places. Never experienced this fault in yarn before. Very disappointed!

Horrible
Wish I’d read the reviews before buying in store. Worst yarn ever! As others have said it goes from thin thread to chunky and twists badly. Never again!
