Wrong size needles and yarn??
This was quite a frustrating kit to use as a complete beginner. The needles are too large to use with the yarn provided, so after several hours of failed attempts where my knitting had enormous gaps in it, I was getting extremely frustrated. I decided to go out and get smaller needles for the yarn, and thicker yarn to use with the needles provided in the kit, and I finally had some success. You would assume the yarn provided in the kit would be the right thickness to use with the needles, but this didn't seem to be the case. Very frustrating for a beginner who doesn't know what they're doing - I thought I was failing for hours because I was doing something wrong.

Knitting kits
This knitting kit shows a grey beanie hat but when you open it up there is no grey wool in the kit . Also the wool is double knitting and the needles are at least size six or more this would not work. I am not sure who designed the kit but they obviously don’t know anything about knitting sorry. I love knitting nd have done so for many years but if a beginner bought this kit it would put them off which is a shame. Also you market a knit and create brand but it’s Crochet not knitting sorry that’s a big difference crochet is not knitting .

Nothing like the picture!
The back of the box states there was a "chunky" yarn in beige and a "medium worsted" yarn in burgundy, but the chunky yarn for the hat was more like a cheap yellow dk. It was nothing like the colour on the front of the box and completely the wrong weight to use the circular needles in the kit to give a nice chunky beanie. Overall very disappointed in this kit!

Insufficient kit
The kit is okay to help practice the techniques of knitting, provides you with needles, yarn and instructions.
But the promise of being able to complete one beanie is unobtainable with what the kit provides. I was sure I must be doing something wrong but by my 10th attempt to make the knit tighter I reluctantly gave in to the fact that the yarn provided is not chunky enough and/or the needles are too big to create the beanie shown in the image.
Very disappointing.

Needs to be recalled
What is the point of providing yarn that is the wrong weight for the needles and any of the projects in the booklet? The wool is absolutely not chunky. In addition to the wrong weight, the colour is not as described - it’s yellowish and not beige.
A knitting kit should have all the materials needed for the project described, which in this case should be one chunky, beige beanie hat.
Recall this product and sell again once this issue is rectified. Please don’t give your standard copy-paste response.

Not great for a beginner
For it being a beginner kit it’s quite disappointing. The wool is poor quality and keeps coming apart, the needles are too long and the instruction book is impossible to follow. Would have been better off just buying wool and needles and watching YouTube videos. Not worth £10 at all.

Poor kit
Really poor kit. Picked up after watching a few knitting videos online but I could not follow the kit at all. The wool for the hat is not beige it's yellow. Got really frustrated after trying to use this kit.
I've given up and gone back to online videos which is going much better.

Would not buy
Wool in kit isnt chunky whihc is needed for the hat. It comes with a booklet on making other items. Feels like the kit has been put together from leftovers, not cohesive. Wool provided wasnt even the colour of the hat in the box
