Smaller than expected but ok for starters/toy
Bought this for my daughter but couldn't see any mention about size/how many hooks. It looked about same size than 48 hook Sentro so I bought it but realised later on that its a lot smaller (can't remember right now but think it has 42). Its easy enough for kid to use after helping to start and taking ready projects off and after initial careful 10-20 rows of more careful speed, it doesn't drop stitches as far as we have experienced. The yarn that comes with it is about enough for 3 colored small double sided beanie. Hats with this are more suitable for ages 6 (very good size for our 3y old) and below but my 9y old is stretching hers on her head and its okish. With panels there probably would be some other options. It's a lovely little thing but if I would have known that its this size, I would have bought different one as price is about the same for non branded ones. We haven't figured out yet how to make panels successfully but we will try some jumpers next.

Great first purchase of a knitting machine
I’ve been wanting to try one of these for ages & this was perfect as it even came with yarn for practicing with.
The instructions were ok, but I found a YouTube video which made things a little clearer, after that it was plain sailing.
Perfect for making child sized hats very quickly.
I’ve since purchased a slightly larger one elsewhere so that I can make adult hats too ☺️

Great for Teen hats
Bought this for my daughter for christmas was disappointed to find out it was not identical to the sentro it actually lacks 8 pins from the 48 pin machines. Now the box should actually tell you how many pins there is but it doesnt anywhere. But it seems reliable tried 6mm yarn does not actually work well with it 4mm seams to be a sweet spot. We made 2 hats so far but the hats fit super snug on an adult.

Other than that- simple and easy to use.

Ok, but Addie better
I started off with this machine and have moved onto an Addie as they more robust, if hobbycraft sold these id buy one. Always cast onto the pin next to the white one. Check out U tube

Knitting machine
Fantastic product identical to Sentro but without the counter, this would improve it slightly
