Overall nice looking frame but too dull for oak
I purchased this same size frame several years ago from Hobbycraft, unfortunately the quality has since declined, corners were a little mashed up, as with all Hobbycraft's frames, the quality isn't what it used to be and the vaneer is always peeling at the corners. The frame (wood part) is also a little thinner than the old versions and the window is more plasticy whereas my original is either glass or better quality. Most frustratingly though is that Hobbycraft have changed the 'light oak' colour of this range, it is now a duller/greyer oak colour which doesn't match existing frames I already have which were much more vibrant oak colour (nor does it match natural genuine oak furniture for that matter so I'm not really sure why it is still called 'oak' tbf) - very frustrating.
