Disappointing
Im a regular buyer of these boxes but recently the quality of what I’ve brought has been disappointing. The boxes had small stains on the underneath,buckled cardboard on the corner and small chips which are very noticeable once the box is painted. Make sure to closely inspect in store so you don’t waste your money like me as I had to throw mine away.

Wrong for tissues
I returned this as despite being well constructed it did not fit a standard tissue box inside it.
I tried it with just the tissues inside without the box and the lid came off whenever a tissue was pulled out.

Quick and easy project
I am currently decoupaging these tissue boxes for every room in the house! So quick, easy and totally lovely ... so much nicer than ugly bought tissue boxes. Good value for money ... just wish there was more choice in decoupage/tissue papers.

Mache tissue box
I finally got around to doing this, I used fabric, tacky glue and pegs to secure fabric in place till dry. It matches my curtains and cushions that I also made.

Lovely
Very happy with product 👍 Covered with fabric quarter, ribbon and embellishments. Stuck down with double sided tape all bought in Hobbycraft!

Mum says I must have shares in hobbycraft!!!!
My daughter has learning problems but she decided she wanted to make her Christmas presents. So with a bit of help in the painting, she has decorated jewellery boxes and tissue boxes, and made a fantastic job. She’s now taking orders. They really are lovely, I hope I get one........
She has thoroughly enjoyed making them and it has kept her focused and motivated. Hobbycraft is her favourite shop.
