An enjoyable task
Six year old grand daughter was really excited to make the Mermaid hanging.
Obviously she couldn’t do it all by herself, help was needed.
No instructions were provided in the pack so I had to guide her.
It would have helped if a diagram showing how to put the hair on the mermaid’s head. Luckily I was able to show her how to put the hair on so that it stayed. She was a quick learner.
When making the mermaid, I would advise doing the painting quite some time before assembling. The white paint took longer to dry.
Of course younger children can’t wait!

How to you thread the hair????
I cut all the threads to length and used my mum's old very fine crochet hook which fitted through the holes in the head to pull the folded thread through the hole and the two ends through the loop created pulling to tighten . Hope this helps
