Disappointing
I was given this as a birthday gift and was really pleased with it. However, the cord was a lot thicker than it appears in the photo. This made the finished result look bulky. The other problem was that the thickness of the cord meant that the ‘working’ cords ended up too short to knot properly at the end of the project. I managed to cobble a knot together, but that’s because I do a lot of crafting.
I feel the kit would be very off-putting for a beginner. The instructions are also somewhat misleading and hard to read, as the print is so small.

Poor value and quality
Very very poor value for money. I paid £12 and in the box you get cord, 4beads and a ring. There were no instructions or guidance to a video. Really not worth the money when you could buy all of those pieces separately for half the price

Not a good buy
I paid £16 for this not worth the money no instructions 1 ball yarn 1 ring 4 beads the yarn had a knot halfway through woud be able to buy all that seperately a lot cheaper not happy

Good for beginners
First time to attempt Macrame , instructions are on the box but needed more clear instructions, went to you tube for each knot and it was easy to follow .

Disappointing
Disappointing. The instructions on the box are incredibly small and like others I had to check the instructions online. The instructions to cut 3m lengths don't take into account that the spiral knitting means the working strands end up much shorter than the fillers. I cannot see how I can make this big enough to fit any sort of normal functional vase, and the working strands could easily have been cut longer as there's a fair bit of rope left over. It's a shame as this is otherwise satisfying to make and would be very pretty.

Just bought. Instructions are really poor. Ended up finding how to do the the knots on tik tok . Also the hanging ring snapped in seconds

Not worth the money
Bought this as a project to keep me busy, wish I hadn't bothered 😕 instructions are extremely basic and the examples of the knot tieing, you can barely see.
