Really handy
Great for model making projects , means I can remove pieces from my runners without risk of them sliding off my table. I do find that with the holes some very small pieces can be lost for a bit but at least there somewhere in the mat

Can it be used as a router Mat
It can be used as a router mat for smaller projects, bear in mind the dimensions of this are 50cm by 2m.
