Better than I expected
I intended to buy the cheaper, basic version - but out of stock online and in store. So, while in store, I decided to go for this one instead. While it is considerably more expensive, it is also fantastic! Very well built and sturdy, and the bright LED lights are way more useful than I'd imagined. Yes, I spent more money than expected, but so far, I don't regret it.

Functional but not very high quality
It's a useful piece of kit - the magnifier is great - and the crocodile clips are strong once you have them assembled. The LED light is bright and can be powered either by USB or internal batteries. Complaints are that (a) the unit feels a bit tacky / lightweight - would expect more quality for this price and (b) the solder station can only be used right-handed - no possibility to swap it to the left side.

Disappointed to find it was obviously a return as it was already built, the light doesn't work and packets were open. Unluckily for me I had lost my receipt. Can't trust this shop anymore

Do your research.
The magnifier is very small and is probably better for larger component use. After using it for a few days, I decided to replace the magnifier with brighter lights and a bigger glass. Much, much better. However, whilst doing the modification I found that the internal wiring was a bit ropey and one of the wires had been stripped when it was screwed into the neck of the magnifying glass.

These are great to use for the models i use.
This looks good plenty to see many wonderful art and stuff to make . You could do and have a new hobby to do , plus nice and clean . The staff are helpful too

Bought this for my husband. Originally for his coin collecting but excellent for cleaning off his metal detecting finds too.
