Disappointed
The one I purchased was exceptionally poor. Neither end was capable of picking up a 1st class stamp. I've used individual ones that are very good, once they lose their tackyness I just wash them in warm soapy water and they are ready to use again. Not so the Modelcraft pick and place. Would I recommend this item, sorry no.

A really useful product for the scale modeller
I am a scale modeller. Aircraft kits are my particular enthusiasm. I am always on the lookout for useful tools and other aids to the enjoyable process of making the model.
I found this tool to be a huge help when positioning small parts on models - a big improvement on tweezers for this job.
Hobbycraft stock an excellent range of modelling tools and paints and are now the "go to" retailer for the scale modeller, particularly as they are rapidly filling the gap left with the demise of many local model shops.

Very useful little gadget
I popped into Hobbycraft for something else but spotted this tool and thought I'd give it a try. When handling really tiny parts with tweezers I'm often losing them as they fly off due to the slight pressure from the tweezers. This is a thing of the past thanks to this brilliant little pick-up tool. The "grab" of the sticky ends is just enough. Well worth the outlay for decent tools like this.

How did I ever manage without it?
A very useful tool, one of those which make you wonder how you previously managed without them. It is ideal for exact placing of small or delicate items, how it picks up and lets go so simply is astonishing.

Great little tool
Brilliant little tool for picking up and placing small pieces of plastic, photo-etch etc. for model making. Much better than Blutack and a cocktail stick! Thoroughly recommended.
