Unable to use
This looked like the perfect finishing touch for my jars of chutney. I have used the labels, but found the Hessian toppers impossible to put on, as they just kept springing off. I thought wetting them might help, but no. Disappointed ☹️.

Hessian jam jar toppers?!
I buy the Hessian jam jar toppers every year for my home made chutney, but this year they have changed the material! They were a plastic, slippery material that were difficult to apply. Please use the original Hessian toppers, otherwise I'll have to look elsewhere!

Slippery and impossible to use
Bought these to go on top of jam jars for Christmas presents- would not recommend. Very difficult and slippery and no clear instructions on how to use/ what size to buy for what size of jam jar. Will unfortunately be going in the bin as I cannot find any other use for them. I tried them on multiple different sized jars and had no luck- wouldn’t waste your money

I bought these for jars or preserves I was making as little Christmas gifts. They’re ‘OK’ but, like the other reviewer, I found they were very slippy - they seem to have a coating on them, I assume to stop them fraying, but I wish they didn’t. I have used them so I wouldn’t say they’re useless and they’re very inexpensive - but they’re not great.

Not as easy to use as I thought . ( its one of those " need three hands" type jobs.)
Did eventually get them to sit central on top of the jam jar and attach the elastic band then add the string and tie in a bow .. finished look was effective so glad I persevered.

Bit difficult to use. Need soaked first. Frayed a bit. No instructions on the packet.
