Very Thin

Will this work if I laser engrave acrylic to make it stand out please. The back will be sage green and I’ll laser engrave the acrylic and then use this to add a gold accent to it.
Firstly, make sure you're covering the acryilc so the shiny surface doesn't damage the laser. With regard to the paint, an enamel paint would leave a better finish and would stick to the surface better, or even you could use gold leaf or a spray.
