Broke on first use, ruining my knitting project
Not impressed! Using them for the first time, after several rows of my garment had been completed, I was repositioning the work along the flexible section and I was shocked to find the plastic flexible section suddenly came out of the metal needle on one end. My work was ruined as it was not possible to rescue all the stitches in the middle. I will not be buying this economy brand again.

Nice product but why no size 3.5?
The circular needle is well made and really useful. I have no problems at all with the product. However, I wanted a 3.5 needle for my pattern and was surprised that Hobbycraft don’t stock them. I asked a really helpful sales assistant what Hobbycraft recommend for old size 10 patterns and I bought the size shown. I can buy 3.5 crochet hooks so why not knitting needles?

Good needles
I found these better than another set of circular needles I have made by the same people. these have a gold ball at the end of the needles for a better glide. The other set I have doesn't have this feature and the cord between the two needles can work loose then it's quite difficult to push back in. I'm hoping that this feature will help prevent this from happening

Superb needles
I have knitted for years but have always been reserved about doing new knitting projects do when it came to knitting a cardigan for my nephew it required picking up 165 stitches to knit the border and required circular needles. Hobbycraft to the rescue! The needles were great to pick up and knit with and boosted my confidence in a great border finish to he cardigan

Rubbish
So badly made, these were impossible to use since the junction between plastic and the metal ends results in a 'step' which the stitches just will not slide over - try forcing them if you wish but that just snags the yarn. I gave up the unequal struggle, put the needle where it deserved to be (in the bin) and used an obscene number of double ended needles instead.
