Rated 5 out of 5 by plantdyer from Good for canning I have lots of Ball canning jars, but needed more. I am using these for pressure canning and water bath canning. They have held up very well, and are exactly like Ball. The lids I'm discarding, and using the 2 part 'forjars' or 'ball' ring-bands, and lid inserts. But you probably could get use out of the lids, only I'm not used to them, and I save them for using on my storage jars instead.
