Cannot complete without buying a special cutter
The tiles are so small you would really struggle to cut them.
As for needing a tool to cut them I do have one as I regularly make mosaics, but it would be quite an expense for anyone who might not use the tool again.
Nowhere on the packaging does it state you need to cut the mosaics.
I do not think enough thought went into creating these packs and I am sure there had been much disappointment from customers.
The original price was very expensive and not worth the money.
To make the kit up as shown on the picture would cost an extra £12-£15 pounds.
I think you should refund anyone who has purchased these kits or at least giv them a voucher against a future purchase.

Plastic and naff
It is ok. Easy to do. The mosaic pieces are plastic which is a bit naff. Which is does not say on the packet. I doubled checked. The colours are not quite right either. Bright pink not red. The example shows half tiles to filling certain places, which is fine and expected. However, I haven't worked out how to cut the plastic pieces, I had pliers ready to nibble at ceramic tiles, plastic ones don't break the same, so project unfinished. It was going to be a cute gift made up to give to a friend, but won't as plastic tiles makes it look cheap . Such a shame :(

Doesn't match the image!
Similar experience to the other reviews: the end result doesn't match the image on the front. The tiles are all one size so the rainbow ends up being a bit chunky, and the "red" tiles were more of a pink colour. You can cut the tiles with a good pair of scissors but they did tend to shatter so I just did this around the rainbow. I found the best way to do it was to complete the border first and then work inwards.
Whilst it was a bit annoying that I had to redo it when I realised I wouldn't have enough room, I still found the process pretty fun! The grouting was easy too, and for £7.50 it was a nice little project.

Disappointing
I wish I had read the reviews before purchasing these for my children. The tiles are all plastic and square and you are unable to cut them so it’s impossible to make it look like the picture. This meant the children got disheartened quickly. They were very expensive for a craft that they didn't enjoy and quickly got frustrated with. I notice that this is a common theme amongst the reviews over a long period of time and while replies indicate that feedback will be passed back, no changes have been made

False advertising. Pieces all one square size
False advertising. You can’t make that picture without somehow trimming the square tiles. They’re plastic. I have tried with a pair of scissors but the piece flew across the room. So it’s frustrating for children - disastrous if you have neurodivergent child who believes it should be possible to copy the advertised end result. We’ve put it away and will try again another time when we’ve more patience but with the understanding that it can’t look like the picture and to just enjoy the process.

OK but needs improvement
Great idea but the pieces were plastic which meant they couldn't be cut to shape and therefore we couldn't make the pattern on the front of the packet. It was worse for my friend who bought the llama pattern. The wood should also have a grid to help place the pieces nicely.

Not as pictured
I bought this as a sticking filler. My 8yo son enjoyed doing it but he was disappointed this wasn't ceramic like the picture. These are tiny plastic squares all one size. The colours don't match either. The red is more pink. He still enjoyed it but not what was expected at all. Better suited to a slightly younger child.

Not as shown
Image shows cut tiles, which really aren't possible (even bought a tile cutter!) so had to do the best I could. Grout was powdery after drying and just scraped off, so no good as a coaster - would need a sealant. Ended up returning the other ones I bought before even trying to do them
