Renshaw decorice
Ok for modelling and really simple flowers. However it is definitely not up to the mark for finer or wired flowers. Tried making freesias and roses with it, but the paste is not strong or elastic enough for this purpose and they just kept breaking. Had to buy some Squires Kitchen flower paste to complete the commission. Unfortunately many cake decorating shops are now stocking the Renshsaw brand over the Squires Kitchen one, probably because it's cheaper, but having made sugar flowers for many years I would say that you get what you pay for and that this is an inferior product.

Kept it’s colour well, not dry out too quickly and had a nice sheen when steamed

Very good quality
Very good quality product and easy to work with. Perfect for modelling and cutting out fiddly lettering. Dries quickly without any cracks. I matched this with Renshaw's Poppy Red Ready to Roll Icing and the end result was two slightly different reds. This kept its colour well, where as the ready to roll lost some of its colour after kneading, but it was hardly noticeable. Would still recommend

Disappointing purchase
Very disappointing, the paste was very dry and needed a lot of working with shortening to make it usable. I don't think it it was the brand as have used before but probably old stock. At £4 for 250G I will not be purchasing flower paste again from this store, I also purchased a black flower paste but shall be returning it.

The colour on the packet was the colour I wanted.
When the paste dried it was not very red it was more a pink colour.
Not the colour in was expecting. I was very disappointed.
As I needed this quick I'm brought ready coloured.
Also found it start to dry out very quickly.
Not sure If I would use this brand again, or buy white and colour it.

Fantastic for sugar craft!
I got this and other colours of the same brand for making roses and peonies as a cake topper.
It was easy to roll and mould and the colour holds well.
As with all modelling pastes you have to keep it wrapped up once opened to prevent drying out.
Great product, sure I will be back for more!
