I have always wanted this particular kit and when I saw it at Hobby Craft I just had to get it. This kit is a little gem despite being moulded in 1979 ! Of course the box artwork has been updated. With a little time and patience you will be rewarded with a cool neat tug boat.

A gorgeous little model.
A lovely little model that with time and patience will stand out on your model shelf . It went together well and most parts were a good close fit . The deck supporting the upper works/ bridge needs flexing a little as it requires a curve but most modellers will not have any problems with this . It's a delight to paint with plenty of scope for your own colour scheme. I'm really pleased with mine and it looks great on my shelf.

Not Revells best
Not the best kit Revell have produced, I can only think the moulds are old as the parts have a lot of flash and need a lot of work sanding and filling if you want a good result. I was surprised and disappointed that the kit doesn't have clear parts for the port holes and windows.

Poor quality parts require to much trimming, ill fitting when assembling overall not what I was expecting.
I've gone from looking forward to building this model to complete disappointment.

The model dates from 1976, not terrible detail however don’t expect a finescale piece.
