When it was launched in 1911, the Titanic was the largest ship in the world. Three engines drove the 882 ft (269 m) luxury liner across the English Channel to Cherbourg, to Ireland and then across the Atlantic on her maiden voyage to New York. Near midnight on April 14, 1912, the ship struck an iceberg. Over the next two hours the ship sank, taking with it over 1,500 people.

The 1:700 scale model contains 132 parts that have been crafted to replicate this unique ship. This hundredth anniversary model kit is perfect for experienced model makers. It features inflatable life raft containers, radar masts, life boat, double cable winch, two figures, and decals.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Bevdee from Lovely model but no glue or paint included. Disappointing that neither glue nor paints are included. Bought as a present for a friend who unfortunately does not get out much due to illness. Both items, the glue and paint took a lot of searching to find, so in all a most embarrassing and disappointing present.
