Reasonable paper but the block is pointless.
Texture is quite good however the paper won't take wet on wet without buckling. Probably ok if detached from the block, stretched out and left to dry. However, this defeats the whole point of using a block.

This watercolour paper holds plenty of water and paint with its useful glued 4 side block. Would recommend.

Unhappy with Shore & Marsh
Low quality paper. Very flimsy and over-absorbent. Not far removed from blotting paper. Tried it as it was obviously a new line but very disappointed. I went to Hobbycraft for Bockingford, Langton or Seawhite but most of these decent quality pads were not in stock seemingly replaced by Shore & Marsh. Great shame.

On a budget.
It’s good value for money as I prefer a block than a pad to paint on. So I would recommend using this even it’s only to practice on especially as water colour paper can be very expensive!!!
