Great sketchbook, interesting texture
I live the texture of the paper in this watercolour sketchbook! It is different to the usual mottled texture of cold pressed (NOT) paper. This is more like a woven pattern. I found that it stood up to wet in wet painting well and had no issues removing masking fluid. Texture paste & granulating medium also worked well.

Won't buy this range again
I bought this with vouchers so it didn't cost much but even at £1 or so it was overpriced. I've used it off and on for a month now and each time I vow never to buy one again. Awful quality paper. Such a shame because the A5 hardback spiral bound format is great. It's worth spending more for a sketchbook you'll actually use. I've got two more sketchbooks in this range that I've not tried yet but I think I'll donate them to the local infant school.

So good I went back and bought two more. I'm using it for nature journalling with watercolour pencils and it's perfect.

Not good enough
Poor quality paper. Impossible for me as a beginner to get any techniques to be successful. I won’t buy it again.

Poor quality
The paper is poor quality and uniformly pitted, I have ended up using the back of the paper for my painting, so not ideal - will not be purchasing this brand again

New favourite water colour pad
An excellent quality paper that doesn’t buckle when wet. I had stunning results straight away and I’m only an amateur artist. I’ve recommended this pad to others.
