It's great!
Great thickness and absorbent for all kinds of media. I've been using pencil to draw so far, and coloured inks on top. However, I do plan to paint on some of my pencil drawings using watercolours, acrylics, and watercolour gouache. I may also try also oil painting one or two drawings. Overall, it's a great sketchbook and I can definitely say that the inks work well. I can't wait to try out the rest of my media I have planned to use.

please please change it back
I bought this a few months ago, and they changed the paper inside it's too smooth, and the paper is thinner. Shame really, for I used to love this pad, using it with watercolour, acrylic, felt-tip pens, colour pencils and it took all these art medium very well, now it's more like just a sketch pad for pencil or pen work, for if any watercolour go on the paper doesn't like it...... please please hobbycraft have word with the supplier and get it changed back

Great little pad for acrylics , l use it to do my colour swatches , when you mix different colours together it helps remember when l need similar again
