Pretty good pattern
I bought this pattern to make Christmas waistcoats for my 2 sons aged 12 and 9. I ended up making 3 waistcoats because I made my 9 year old the child's large and added a bit extra because he's very tall. Even so, it still came out a good 3-4" too short. So I then made 2 small men's ones - which was slightly big on my 9 year old but a lot better.
They turned out beautifully despite some errors in the instructions. Most of it was clear but some bits weren't and some were completely wrong. But they looked amazing. Took me about 6 hours to make each one, not including the cutting out and I am a complete novice.
