Almost a kaleidoscope!
The instructions to construct the kaleidoscope were a little unclear. Once we’d worked out how to make it we realised that one of the 3 plastic discs supplied (the small one) was clear and not opaque as it should have been. This means that once completed the kaleidoscope doesn’t work properly as you can see straight through it. A pity as it could have been an excellent kit, but ended up not working properly and being disappointing.

This is some that I bought for my son and me to do. He already has a kaleidoscope and was fascinated on how it works so by making this one with him he understood the science behind it.
The only negative thing i would say is we had to add a few mor gems then what was supplied but other then that its great.

Not easy to make
Bought to make with 8 year old granddaughter, instructions were not the easiest to follow and it’s wasn’t easy for her to make even with adult help.
