Wish the shop was closer to me!
This is a very good place to get artists' and creative materials of all kinds. I usually end up buying more than planned as it's inspiring to look around at all the stuff on offer for so many crafts and hobbies. There are often promotions on canvases, etc, too. Plenty of parking right outside the door. Wish it wasn't 12 miles away!

Sturdy, good value.
I wasn’t intending to paint on this, rather I was using it as a backing for a fabric project, to support a mask. It was suitably sturdy and took glue evenly. The project now has pride of place hanging in my study.

Good basic canvas
I continue to buy canvasses at Hobbycraft for my oil painting hobby because so far I have managed to produce good paintings with them and think they are good value for money.

Not very well stretched
It's not stretched taut enough, cannot tell when it's wrapped. The wooden bits for the back aren't big enough to improve it.

Perfect for mixed media
i used this to make a collage / mixed media, combining marker pens, acrylics and pva glue. Good value for money.
