Good paint
I like these acrylic paints. They spray well, give good coverage and dry quickly. What’s more they don’t need the prolonged stirring associated with enamel paints and these acrylics can be mixed with water or Tamiya X-20A Acrylic Thinners (both don’t smell as bad as enamel thinners).
On the down side any small residues left in the bottom of the jar will dry out quickly. So pour the last dregs into the new bottle of paint and the old glass bottle can be cleaned and put into the re cycling.

Realistic rubber effect.
As with all tamiya acrylic paints this one flows well through my airbrush when thinned 2 parts paint/1 part thinners. It adheres to the plastic well and leaves a realistic rubbery look to tyres etc. Highly recommended for tyres on model kits.

Tamiya XF-85
Part of the excellent Tamiya acrylic paint range. Best for the model maker and other crafts. No smell, clean and easy to use in a bottle. This particular product gives an excellent finish which will dry quick and looks like a rubber finish.

Local purchase made easy
Hard to find Tamiya products in store now - have to go on line or to one of the few model stores still open. Great to nip around the corner and pick up paint at a reasonable price. It's 'Tamiya' - quality therefore guaranteed

Excellent paint, valuable colour
Ideal paint for tyres on models, but as always Tamiya paints really need to be sprayed. Hand painting can result in an uneven coat unless the paint is applied in many thin coats.

Excellent alternative to black
I use this as an alternative to XF1 as it looks more realistic on aircraft in 1:48 scale. Diluted with a small amount of thinner it airbrushes superbly
