Amazing kit at a great price
This is a great kit with very crisp detailing and zero flash on the sprues. All the pin hole ejection marks are in areas where you'll never see them and all the parts fit together with minimal need for filler or other fettling. I'll definitely be buying the FB variant later on. You can really detail this kit if you want too so the sky really is the limit for this aircraft.

Early Wooden Wonder
This kit represents one of the main early production versions of the Mosquito. It is well moulded and the fit of parts is generally good, even though the moulds are now over 20 years old. Detail throughout is very adequate for the scale. Thoughtful design means that the joint between front and rear fuselage sections is mostly hidden, wing dihedral is set by spars moulded into the weapons bay roof, the wings and propellors can be added very late in construction and there 8s even an access ladder. My biggest criticism.of the kit is that the tail fin is .25 8nches too tall and looks odd compared to the accurate fin of the older Airfix 1/48 Mosquito, the decals are also not up to modern standards of colour accuracy or thickness. Overall this is a competent rendition of an impressive aeroplane that will withstand extra detailing and improvement.

I purchased this Tamiya De Havilland Mosquito PR Mk.IV 1:48 Scale Model Kit from your Carlisle store after I received my £5.00 voucher for my birthday. I have yet to assemble it. I have inspected it and it seems to be a really good comprehensive kit with good clear instructions. I am looking forward to making this kit in the near future.

All you need to build a legend of the air
Over 20 years old but not out of date, this kit has excellent detailing in the cockpit and wheel wells, there are 3 paint/markings options in the box making it great value too, a lot of model for a reasonable price well worth adding at least one to your collection, it will make a stunning centrepiece to any display I know mine will.

I havent started this yet but I bought it after researching the kit. It should go together well and is perfect for someone of my experience and ability which I would describe as just left beginner and pushed into intermediate.
