The Tamiya Suzuki GSX 1100 S Katana Model Kit is a plastic model kit in the Tamiya 1:12 motorbike model kits range, having made its debut at the Cologne IFMA trade show in 1980.

This kit carefully reproduces Hans Muth’s Katana design. The mechanical mood of the 4-cylinder OHC engine, along with ignition cords, brake pipes and instrument cables (created from vinyl tubing) has been accurately replicated.

The synthetic rubber tyres, front and rear, feature tread patterns and are mounted onto Suzuki’s famed star-shaped die-cast wheels which offer a highly realistic appearance. Metal screws are included to provide extra strength to parts such as the wheel axels.

Tamiya has a reputation for detail and accuracy and the Suzuki GSX 1100 S Katana model kit is a perfect example of this.

Please note that paint and glue are not included in the kit.
