The Tamiya Yamaha YZF-R1M Model Kit is a highly detailed, static display model that recreates the classic motorcycle with great accuracy. It is ready to assemble and, once completed, can be displayed on the stand included.

The first YZF-R1 was released in 1998, developed to provide high speeds on winding roads, before it evolved into a more circuit-oriented bike. The YZF-R1M benefits from Yamaha's extensive MotoGP experience and gets the most out of its 4-cylinder 998cc engine.

The model features a detailed depiction of the engine screw-affixed to the frame, and the tyres give you authentic tread patterns for extra detail. The front cowl features separate parts depicting headlights, position lights and inner cowl.
