Rated 2 out of 5 by from One of the worse tech pen Very cheap so was not expected much, plastic does not feel great in hand, fairly light weight, nib scratching the paper as expected for the price ; the main issue is that ink leaks - as soon as you try to write something, it collect at the end of nib in a second and makes blobs on paper; have multiple professional branded pens and been using them for years but would not recommend this one at all

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Return of the King! (well, of the Rotring really) Hey, this is to all intents and purposes a good old Rotring Rapidograph - the king of Technical Drawing pens, and in the days when the Royal Navy used paper charts a Navigator's Yeoman's passport to getting all manner of favours. I see there have been some indifferent reviews, but that's probably because few people under the age of 40 have ever seen them, let alone used one. Yes, one does have to know how they work and how best to use them - but the results will justify the effort.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Works ok, but NOT a Rotring alternative! I purchased this to replace a very old technical pen that had finally worn out. Whilst it may look similar to a Rotring Isograph, it most certainly is not, in terms of quality and performance - which was expected at this price to be fair! As with all technical pens, they need to be used almost vertically to the paper and on a VERY smooth surface (i.e. Bristol board etc.) to get the best out of them and prevent damage. Maintenance is also really important, as pens stored with ink in them will almost certainly seize and be difficult to get working again (soak the nib in warm water/washing up liquid mix). However, the pen does seem to write reasonably ok, but time will tell how long it lasts and at this price, you can't expect too much! It's a shame they don't have other nib sizes available at Hobbycraft.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Technical Drawing combo - a pen and ink combo I just wish I could get other size ‘nibs’ - it appears to have same quality as my old technical quality pens from other well known manufacturers which are now impossible to get unblocked… for a much reduced cost these are equivalent to rotoring in looks and functionality - I have faber ones too and was very impressed by this pen

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor quality no long works I brought this to do drawing and a drawing pad at first all worked fine and for 2 days all good then on day 3 nothing now ink at all. Tried to so the steps to clear any blockages and get the ink flowing but has not worked. now have pen that's not working
