Disappointing
Really disappointed with this paste and I’ll be sticking to Renshaws in the future .
I have had years of experience decorating cakes for family and friends so I have good equipment etc .
I found this very difficult to roll out evenly .., it was for a big fruit cake for my golden wedding anniversary celebration so I wanted to get it right .
It was very rigid and seemed reluctant to stretch .., I had the correct amount required .
In the end I had to patch the sides and fortunately this is covered with ribbon and flowers .
I mentioned this to a friend who regularly decorated cakes …. She said she tried it, given up and thrown it in the bin and bought a replacement online .
It’s a shame as Hobbycraft now stock a wide range of cake decorating essentials

A quality flower paste buy drying takes forever!
This is a nice quality flowerpaste. It rolls super, super thin to enable delicate sugar flowers to be made and it absorbs colour well.
My only gripe is that it doesn't fully dry. In one way thats a positive as it allows you longer to manipulate petals and leaves, but I found it frustrating because it took days longer to make finished flowers.
I would buy again if I was desperate, but it wouldn't be my first choice.

Excellent product
Used to make sugar flowers for an 85th birthday cake, flawless for orchids and poppies. Very easy to use and colours well.
