Unusable metal bobbins and poor quality thread
I’m new to sewing and asked in store if this selection would be good for my newly brought Brother sewing machine. Was told yes but got home and all the bobbins are metal - you can’t use metal bobbins on Brother machines according to instruction manual - why not put they are metal bobbins on packaging but also now despite checking in store i’m left with box of unusable bobbins (and even though I am using the thread its the cheaper thread so worked out more expensive in the long run). Poor purchase all in all - and don’t rely on store staff to give accurate info!

Great colour combination
I an new to sewing so this was the perfect solution to different colour threads , altogether in one box, spools full and matching thread, the colours are great from pastel to dark and economical for the combination of colours,

Are the bobbins usable for a Brother sewing machine as they usually need the ones sold by Brother?
I can't say for sure as I don't have a Brother machine. I'm guessing they would be ok as they seem to be a standard size and fit my vintage treadle Singer, my Elna and my Husqvana machines. Sorry this isn't much help. Good luck with your research.

Is the thread made of cotton or polyester?
I didn't keep the packaging, but it's definitely not cotton. It's a man made fibre almost certainly polyester.
