Does what it says on the tub
Works well this stuff, purchased for my partner to try out a new hobby- making cement pots. Ideal for that sort of stuff and more complex items, ie copying your favourite piggy bank to make copies for the kids to paint up on a rainy day.
Few issues though;
-its very pricey
-doesn’t have a lot of strength to hold itself up
-loads of people seem to be allergic to latex these days.
Pro’s;
-Easy to use
-stores well
In the late 90’s i used a similar product that actually dried like natural rubber, cannot for the life of me remember what it was called but it could be turned insode out and washes over and over, this stuff doesn’t bear too well to wear & tear, buts its the best alternative i could find and does the job.

Easy to use and very versatile product
I absolutely love liquid latex and I use it to create different kinds of special effects makeup. You can literally create a subtle cut to a really gory burn or if you mix it with some plain flour you can create a paste. I have recently made a mask by using this method! Really easy to use and very easy to get your hands on in a hobby craft store!

This product is amazing!
I've been buying my Liquid Latex from hobbycraft for quite some time now. I currently have two (1litre) bottles on my desk and I have just finished my other bottle. This Latex is great for makeup lovers or people that need makeup products for parties or dress up events. If you are planning on using it a few times, then I suggest getting the smaller bottle. Or if you are planning on using it a lot, then I suggest buying the bigger bottle as I believe you are only paying an extra few pounds but you're getting twice the amount of product. This product is easy to use and is a staple for a makeup kit. With Liquid Latex, you can make wrinkles, large cuts, wounds, prosthetics and much more. I even use Latex as a glue to stick down prosthetics. (It's a very universal product and can be used for so much, check out makeup artists on YouTube to see more ways of using this product) It does have a strong smell but as long as you don't purposefully sniff it, you will be fine. You can't really smell it when using small quantities on your face / body. This product will rip out hair and will ruin clothes & makeup brushes, so be careful and don't use expensive makeup brushes / wear nice clothes when using this product. It is quite similar to higher end Liquid Latex' but is of course, a lot cheaper. Avoid getting this in your eyes / mouth etc. and try not to get it in your hair or in beards as it will be most likely, a painful removal process. Apart from it ruining fabrics (just be careful when using it), I highly suggest this product to anyone who needs something for Halloween / gore / SFX makeup!

VERY thin.
This is supposedly used for creating moulds, so I expected a thick consistency. It's INCREDIBLY thin, you would need a great many layers of this to create any form of mould.
That said, I'm using this for LARP weapon repair/relatexing. You will need to purchase the thickener to use for it this purpose. The thin layer I've used as a test does seem sturdy enough to withstand one or two rounds on the field.
