Good value but lightweight and no longer wrapped
As others have mentioned, this paper is very lightweight and you can read text through it. It is also quite 'brittle' and tears very easily.
To reduce plastic, the rolls are now no longer wrapped, and contain extra paper in lieu of wrapping, but every roll in the store was battered and torn on the outer ends.
I purchased this as a background to photograph small objects against, for which it is perfectly serviceable, but as wrapping paper (for which it seems to be primarily sold) it would be disappointingly translucent and fragile.
One surface is slightly shiny while the reverse is matt.

Bought to make dressmaking patterns!!
Bought this kraft paper as an inexpensive 'tracing' paper to copy dressmaking patterns.
I plan to copy my patterns onto this paper, to then be used to cut out my fabric pieces. I can then preserve the original tissue patterns to use again, and can easily and cheaply re-cut copies when the 'working' versions deteriorate with use!
I usually do this with dressmaking pattern paper which can cost up to £12-14 for 10m - so if this works, I am onto a winner!
The paper feels quite thick and durable, so it should also be useful for wrapping etc.
At this price, it would also be great as a disposable tablecloth, art paper, etc...

You can see through the paper
I used this to wrap up some Christmas presents as was creating a snowman so needed plain white paper. But you could see through it so I couldn't use it on any presents with bright writing underneath

Very thin
Unfortunately I did not check the gsm on this roll of paper. It is very thin and therefore is of no use to wrap gifts up with unless u put multiple layers on it like I had to do. It also creases up very easily and tears. It’s no good for my needs

White paper
Bought to use as wrapping paper, wanted it plain so I could put my own designs on
Good quality without being to thick.
It could easily be used as drawing
paper. Or for making patterns for crafting.
