Very useful
Picked up this little lap desk for use with my crafting, as I get back ache sitting at the dining table after a while. This enables me to sit on the sofa and work in a comfortable position. I work with vinyl cutting, so I have all the tools I need at hand, plus a bucket to drop the bits of rubbish into. I would have given it 5 stars for a non slip top, but I have added this myself. Highly recommended for any crafts or drawing.

Excellent value
I was surprised that this lap tray/desk is so good considering the low price.
The side pockets are a good size and mean you can have your crafting supplies (and/snacks!) to hand without losing any work space.
I really like the gap between my lap and the plastic tray ~ cushioned lap trays always make me too hot after a while and this is not the case with this Hobbycraft one.
I highly recommend this simple but great lap tray/desk.

Very handy to have
This item is very useful for crafting on the sofa, or even bed I suppose. It's a little bit higher than expected, but that's good as it's easier to keep a good posture while using. The built in containers mean the whole surface can be used for your project, with glues, scissors, etc kept in them. It's not totally rigid so won't hold heavy items, like a die cutter, but I'd use that on a table anyway. All in all a good and useful buy

This is a good size and very handy - or lappy!
This is such a great project for those that like to tinker making stuff whilst watching tv, or even whilst in bed. It fits well over my lap and there is a good amount of room on the tray to put bits and bobs. To one side is a large well and the other side it is split into 2 wells, one larger than the other. Overall a great product.

This is a great lap tray!
So I brought this tray as I really enjoy colouring! I colour most evenings and it is so handy to have because I have the pockets to put my colouring pencils, rubbers, sharpeners etc in. I also use it as I’ve started cross stitching too so I can keep all my accessories in the pockets. So glad I got it!

Very light but also very stable
To be honest for £10 I wasn’t sure what to expect but this tray is perfect in dimensions (even goes around my post lockdown thighs) and it’s so light to pick up and move around. The caddies at the side are great for keeping your supplies in and the tray is very stable even with weight on. Very happy!

Perfect for home schooling
I bought 2 for my teenagers who like sitting on a comfortable sofa to do their schoolwork-No more leaning over crumpled books! and plenty of space on each side for pens, spare books, phones/tablets etc. My son has even attached his tablet to his table.Amazing value for money-Lockdown lifesaver
