Good frame but some quality issues
Good solid frame with glass panel and ‘bend up’ type metal clips. Note - some of this type of frame have the silver twist clips which are not good if you are selling your art. The frames are advertised as wood (which they are) but they are not painted, they have a sort of plastic veneer. Also, I’ve had issues with the quality of frame finish but have exchanged where this is the case.

Second time lucky
I didn't buy it as a photo frame but to frame some art work. Unfortunately there was a blemish to the underside of the glass which hadn't shown up until I put my own mount into it. The staff at Hobbycraft were very helpful and found a replacement - the last one in the shop.

Absolutely Recommended
I found that square frames are difficult to find. I thought that, perhaps, the whiteness would be too much, but just the opposite... it made the painting look so much better!
The price was good too.

Nice quality frame but expensive
Nice quality frame - quite heavy, looks well made. Very happy with it. However, I was really put off buying one because of other bad reviews, saying that the corners didn't fit together nicely and had to be returned. I thought it would be obvious when it came if it was ok or not in this aspect (so I could send it back without having to open the packaging), but the corners are covered with cardboard so you do have to totally open it up, which means tearing off the film wrap. I actually had another issue with mine - it was Click & Collect and the frame was the correct size. So I opened it all up then saw that they'd given me the wrong one - instead of a single mount, it was a multi picture mount. Turns out that exactly the same frame with a multi picture mount is £18, whereas one with a single mount is £25. I think this is really unreasonable - why is it so much more expensive to have just one picture aperture? £7 is a big difference. We had to take the frame back to the store to exchange for the correct one and luckily when I opened it the corners were fine. So in summary it's a nice frame but £25 seems a lot for it when they're selling an almost identical one for £18.
