Good value for money
These pastes are highly pigmented & are so easy for beginners like me. It’s a more value for the amount pack than sugar-flair but it would have been nice to have a colour chart included. Was slightly perturbed to read the label on the black pot but perhaps its acceptable in the US to do that but it was inappropriate enough for this review to be blocked from posting until I removed the word in the review? Otherwise, happy with the set and will repurchase. Ultimately, it was the price & colour selection that won me over as Sugar Flair was a limited & inflexible range although would purchase those for the silver & vintage gold.

I literally have one word for these: outstanding.
You need the smallest amount to create the most vibrant of colours which is perfect for rainbow cakes!
The colours also mix well to create your perfect colour or shade. The box doesn’t contain orange but this is easily achieved by mixing the red and yellow etc..
The only issue is the red doesn’t give red-red but the bonus being it doesn’t give that metallic taste when you add more so keep adding for your desired shade. (We all know that red is super difficult to achieve anyway)

Brilliant colour pay off
I used these to make a rainbow cake and it was so vibrant! So much better than liquid food colouring. I would have given it 5* but the colour selection could have been a bit better with a white, orange or black instead of the strange tan/beige colour. It also was a bit messy getting the foil seal off and my hands were covered! Not a huge complaint and certainly worth the money especially compared with the price of buying individually. Certainty would recommend these if you want some good quality food colouring for baking. :)

Food colouring great for melted choc
I always struggle with dying my white choc however it has become so simple because of this food colouring. The consistency is almost jelly like and you need the tiniest amount and it’ll go the longest way. For my business customers want different colours and honestly this pack has all the necessary colours. I don’t need to buy individuals. It’s an amazing deal. I am most excited to us the gold and ivory colour.

Very short shelf life
Unfortunatley all packs in the shop had very short shelf life, all best before 3 months only. This is a store cupboard ingredient and should have a long shelf life. All individual colour gels had 2 year shelf life, just the 8 pack with 3 months remaining - very dissapointing. Returned for refund.

Bright vibrant colours
Easy to use gel liquid food colours for icing (butter and fondant). Only need a small amount and get a really good colour. Used to use supermarket gel colours but no where near as bright as these. Good date on the box too so will last well.

The best colours ever!
This is the best thing I have bought all year! They’ll last forever. One cocktail stick tip with a tiny amount of colour in it is enough for 500g icing! The colours are amazing. Really pleased I bought these!
