Quality watercolour paint - versatile colour.
Bought Winsor and Newton watercolours as a step-up from my beginner paints and really pleased. The colour mixes well and blends nicely on the paper to create a good wash.
I bought this particular one to mix and create a colour for painting sand, as part of a beach scene. Great result. Quality pigment at a very good price, with a 3-for-2 offer! No chalky residue on the brush or left in the water, after pouring it away at the end of painting. The Cotman range is well worth the money and perfect if you want something between cheaper branded paints and professional watercolours. Would definitely recommend.

Gorgeous paint colour
I needed to paint some mist so I went to Hobbycraft to buy some Burnt Sienna to mix with my French Ultramarine watercolour paint. Normally I'd use the Winsor & Newton Professional Series but they were out of stock . So I bought the Winsor & Newton Cotman one instead which worked extremely well. I was very pleased with the result and the quality of the paint was of a high standard.

Cotman brand paint
The Winsor Newton cotman are student grade paint but still very good quality and at a really good price. There are a good range of colours too great for like me just starting out with watercolour painting.

Winsor & Newton quality watercolour paint.
Winsor and Newton’s watercolour paints are of very good quality. Suitable from beginners to the professional. This particular colour is in my top five must have and is great for mixing, changes in value.
