Wonderful colours for the winter season!
The winter light gives you great subtle and sophisticated colour combinations. To portray this combination, I bought Winsor & Newton Cotman Sepia and Winsor & Newton Cotman Indigo at the Hobby craft Shop in Bedford. Indigo and sepia are now celebrating in my landscapes. I drew three different sketches of my lake, and they all gave me pleasure. This watercolour works superbly with paper and with each other. I added a little more Ochre and Burnt Sienna to this combination. I also used Winsor & Newton Colourless Art Masking Fluid produce the effect of last year's leaves of irises. I will certainly use it again.

Love its rich colour!!
Already used this in lots of ways to blend and enhance eyes and add detail to fabric. It's superb. Gradates easily, mixes readily and works brilliantly, whether neat or toned. A lovely colour and essential for every watercolorist's art box. Subtle, without being overbearing.

Excellent quality as you would expect
Good for both professional and amateur. An excellent range of colours. Unfortunately not a great deal of choice in my local hobbycraft at the moment but I'm sure it will improve.

Winsor & Newton Quality paint.
Winsor and Newton’s watercolour paints are of very good quality. Suitable from beginners to the professional. This particular colour is in my top five must have.

Strong colour
I like indigo, I use it in a similar way to Paynes grey. But it’s a much stronger colour so you don’t need much of it.
