A reliable and versatile product.
I build my paintings up in layers, often using a range mediums such as flow improver and glazing medium. As the painting progresses, this can result in patchy areas of matte and gloss finish. Winsor & Newton gloss medium is ideal for applying over the whole painting to unify the surface and bring out the richness of the colours. It will take additional layers of paint on top and can also be used as an adhesive for collage. An extremely useful and versatile product.

Glossy dots
As a mandala and dot artist, getting the perfect paint consistency is paramount for the perfect dot!
This is a relatively new product for me, having watched lots of YouTube videos with advice for paint mediums, I thought I'd give it a go. I'm still experimenting, but loving the glossy results I'm achieving already. This is my 2nd pot and I'm already sure I'll be repurchasing!

Never used this before
I found out about this medium to mix with acrylic paint on a website and I came into Hobbycraft to see if you stocked it. You stocked a lot of different brands so I decided to buy something that was middle in your price range. I was also lucky enough to have 20% off the price which I had received from my previous purchase.

I had wanted Matt Medium, because this wasn't available I bought Gloss. I returned this after my art class because it was the wrong one. Other class members have tried buying Matt Medium and gave up, bought it online from a company! Hobbycraft is supposed to be an art supplier, it has so little choice, hardly worth bothering with.

Great product
This is slightly cheaper than other brands, however, it gives the same results. I have used this to do acrylic pours and it has increased the shine on what can be dull colours. Not so easy to use as a finishing gloss but excellent for acrylic mixing

Good varnish
Does what it says on the tin but I have used products that give your work greater enhancement and protection. This is cheaper and still a good product though. No need to dilute which is a time and mess reducer.

Multi functional!
I used this medium as a means of doing a photo transfer onto canvas. The end result was much better than any white glue or modge podge products and cheaper! Would definitely recommend!
