Great value, good quality!
This is the second time I've purchased Windsor and Newton Matt Medium. I find it excellent for an adhesive and as a Matt varnish/protective layer. I am a mixed media artist. My most recent piece is a commission on canvas using a lot of collaged, hand printed and textured papers. I am very pleased with how this medium performed. I particularly like the very matt finish with no residue. The colours stay true after application and the adherence is great. I even used it to adhere sand to paper and it was excellent, no loose sand! Would definitely purchase again. It is really good value too.

Great quality medium
I use this to create paint thinner for airbrush and acrylics. 5-7 drops in 250ml de-ionised water (use the water captured from your condenser dryer if you have one) in a dropper bottle and shake well. Lasts for ever.

Fantastic product
This is a great product to use in Art Journaling. You can mix with acrylic paint to get glazed effects and create layers by gluing down collage and other elements and the Matt effect is super.

Create your own paints and washes
Good quality matt medium. Mix with some acrylic ink or pigment to make your own acrylic paint. Add a bit of water to that and you have yourself an acrylic wash.

Bought this to use as a glue and sealant for a mixed media montage. Dries quickly and goes a long way. Nice consistent matt finish. Excellent stuff!

Does what it says on the 'tin'
Reasonably price and will be sure t get a lot of use. Makes portrait painting with acrylics more enjoyable, along me to layer complexions.
