Thicker than DK
The yarn is a lovely colour but knits up thicker than a regular DK

WI Turquoise Yarn
I paid for this yarn through click and collect, they were the last two balls in the Tunbridge Wells store. I bought from there instead of using my local one as Maidstone had none. When it was collected there was no turquoise and I was very disappointed. I am unable to continue my project until it is back in stock.

Quality of the wool.
I recently bought eight balls of this yarn and have worked three balls so far but the last ball of yarn seemed to thin out in the middle of the ball and then build up into the original thickness again. Just hoping that it doesn't fray when the blanket that it's getting made into is washed as the blanket is a gift.

Lots of knots in yarn
This is usually a very good brand. Lovely colours and the quality is good but of late there are knots in the yarn which has caused problems with the work i am doing. Not sure ill buy again. Bear it in mind when choosing this yarn.

Soft, squishy, reliable acrylic DK
I initially bought this yarn brand for making the Fall into Autumn blanket. Since then I have used it for amigurumi, other blankets, coasters, a shawl and a bralette. It is so versatile and has a good colour range. It has a beautiful, soft texture but when steam blocked it is amazing.
It is an S-twist yarn so as a right handed crocheter it does split on occasion. It is 100% acrylic composition so is easily washable in a machine and can be dried on a low setting. 100g giving approx. 250 metres, I have weighed some of the balls and they are true to weight give or take the odd gram. There is a variation in thickness between colours with the white being thinnest in my experience so bear this in mind if doing colorwork. This is likely due to the dying process rather than the spinning process.
I usually centre pull so I am familiar with having yarn barf but they are usually easy to detangle. I would recommend winding into a cake for an easier centre pull and then you can also spot any knots or tangles before starting a project and deal with them beforehand.

Regular user - many colours
Reliable and consistent yarn in good colour range. Slightly heavier than many DK yarns but washes well and ideal for blanket-knitting. Very good value for money at 3 for 2.
